Thank you for your ministry inquiry. We welcome you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We have over forty-two functioning ministries at Colonial Baptist coordinated through the office of Minister of Ministries. All ministries serve a shepherding responsibility of which the New Testament “principles,” of worship, evangelism, disciple, fellowship, and ministry are the foundational approach.

Why do we have these ministries? (2 Corinthians 4:1-2) Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.  2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

What is our purpose? Colossians 2:2-3  2 My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,  3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge What gifts are included? Ephesians 4:10-13  0 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)  11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,  12 to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up  13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

We invite you to explore our ministries and glorify God through the gifts entrusted to you for the building up of His Kingdom. We are a Kingdom Focused Church.  Matthew 6:33-34  33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
