1. Have you wondered what life might have been like for you as a woman if you were raised in another country? Well, come and get a glimpse at the Jacki O Show during our Women's Life Kickoff on Monday, September 13. You will also have an opportunity to register for various women's programs, including the Life Bible Study, which will be on "A Walk Thru the Book of Ruth." This semester, we will also have a guest teacher for one of our seven fellowship classes: Dr. Mildred Well Herring, who is the President of Philadelphia Bible Institute & College in Baltimore. If you did not receive your fall brochure in the mail, please pick up one at the Women in Ministry bulletin Board or at the table in the fellowship hall. Oh, by the way, feel free to take two brochures--share one with someone else.
2. 2010 State Missions Week of Prayer/Offering..Sept 12-19 2010
The Theme of this year's week of prayer is " CONNECT" Based on Phil 1:3-5 Paul told the Philippians " That he gives thanks always for the Partnership that they had in spreading the Gospel"
There are many ministries going on within our two(2) state convention, from starting new churches to ministry on many of our college campuses. Much (Prayer) is needed along with financial support to see the Kingdom work being done among us.
Please take time to read the prayer insert and envelopes in your bulletin and seriously consider how the LORD will have you to respond. You can also use the one in your offering envelope packet.
This year's state goal is $215,000. and Colonial's is $3,000. May His blessings be with you as you seek to follow Him. Clarence Smith, Missions Coordinator(contact
