Our Food Pantry Needs Your Help
We are in dire need of canned goods and dry items for our pantry.  Many people are looking for help with food in light of today’s economic situation.  Our pantry is just about bare.  Please bring in canned goods, rice, macaroni and cheese, cereal, oodles of noodles, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, juices and the like.


DRAW ME CLOSER – YOUNG ADULT RETREAT
Please join us for our Young Adult Retreat, to be held Dec. 19-21, 2008.  The cost of this retreat is $75.  We will be traveling to the mountains of Pennsylvania to commune with God.  (If anyone would like to sponsor a Young Adult, please let us know.) REMINDER REGARDING CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES DURING THE 11:00 WORSHIP
Parents of children ages 4 years to grade 6 are reminded that Church Time for Tots for 4 and 5 year olds is available every Sunday except the first Sunday during the 11 o’clock service.  ACTS (Accentuating Christ through Skits) is available for children in grades 1-6 on the 2nd and 4th Sundays during the 11 o’clock service.  Both ACTS and Church Time for Tots are Christ-centered activities that use creativity, including arts, crafts, songs, skits and more to make learning about Jesus fun.  All activities are held in the Sunday School wing.  If you need additional information, please contact Hazel Drummond at 410-461-6183.   

 
Our weekly Bible club for children is now in full swing on Wednesday evenings, 6:30 – 8:00 pm and we’re looking for more children!  We have a year of fun-filled activities planned and we hope you will join us.  Together, with God’s help, we can train boys and girls to know, love and serve Christ and become the spiritual champions God intends them to be.  We are also in need of additional men leaders to assist with the older boys.  For more information, please contact Sis.
